OCEANCITYLOFTS HONORS LEUKEMIA AND
LYMPHOMA SOCIETY
Launch party announces sponsorship
of Light the Night Walk
DELRAY BEACH - Developers
for Delray Beach's newest residential community,
oceancitylofts, recently honored committee members
and volunteers for the Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society's Light the Night Walk events at a project
launch party.
In honor of the organization's benefit walk
events on September 19 in West Palm Beach, September
20 in Vero Beach, and October 3 in Boca Raton,
oceancitylofts developers celebrated with more
than 200 guests at downtown Delray Beach's City
Oyster restaurant.
The Light the Night Walk is the Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society's nationwide fundraising event.
Walkers carry illuminated balloons to celebrate
and commemorate the lives of those touched by
cancer. Funds raised support the organization's
mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's
disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality
of life of patients and their families.
"One of oceancitylofts' key sales directors,
and a Bush Realty associate, John Hackett is
chairing the October event in Boca Raton," said
Tom Laudani, a principal development partner
of Southpoint Reatly Development. "By partnering
with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at our
launch event, we have the opportunity to honor
John's great work for this worthwhile organization,
and to assist in bringing attention to their
major fundraisers this fall. We are certainly
proud to participate in their events."
With fewer than 10 percent of its 63 units remaining
for sale, oceancitylofts has made a name for
itself in downtown Delray Beach with its unique
architecture, accessible location and attractive
pricing.
Presented by Southpoint Realty Development,
Vercon Construction and Bush Realty, oceancitylofts
is downtown Delray Beach's newest residential
development. Groundbreaking is scheduled for
October 2003, with completion of the two buildings
anticipated in the fall, 2004.
